CLEARFIELD, Pa (GANT) – A Lycoming County man faces charges for allegedly having sexual encounters with multiple teenage girls in exchange for E-cigarettes and alcohol.

Nirav M. Patel, 33, of Muncy is charged by Clearfield state police with two counts each of felony statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault and corruption of minors, as well as two counts of misdemeanor indecent assault, misdemeanor sell/furnish liquor etc minor and summary sale of tobacco.
In a second case, Patel is charged with felony statutory sexual assault (three counts), aggravated indecent assault (four counts) and corruption of minors (four counts), as well as misdemeanor indecent assault (five counts), misdemeanor sell/furnish liquor etc. minor (two counts) and summary sale of tobacco.
According to court documents, a trooper followed up on multiple ChildLine reports and an incident report concerning a 13-year-old victim after her mother discovered a SnapChat message from Patel in early April.
It was noted that Patel worked at the Exxon gas station in Kylertown.
In an interview April 11, this victim said she engaged in sexual intercourse with Patel in early- to mid-March in exchange for E-cigarettes. It occurred inside a black Honda van along a dirt pull-off in Cooper Township.
She said another encounter occurred April 1 when she was picked up by Patel in the same van. This time she said Patel already had another 13-year-old girl and he took them to the Nittany Minit Mart in Morrisdale. He purchased them Twisted Tea.
Afterwards, he drove them to a secluded dirt road and allegedly sought sexual intercourse from both teens. The victim said she engaged in sex with Patel while the other teen remained in the vehicle.
On April 11, state police interviewed the second victim who corroborated victim 1’s story, adding she’d refused to engage in any sexual relations and remained in the front area of the van. But, she did reportedly perform a sex act on Patel during a previous encounter.
State police obtained security footage from Nittany Minit Mart for April 1 at approximately 11:48 p.m. It showed Patel exit the vehicle and enter the store alone. He then purchases two cases of Twisted Tea, exits the store and departs in his vehicle.
In an interview with state police April 12, Patel reportedly confessed to portions of the crimes, stating he did receive oral sex from victim 1 twice including the night of April 1-2 after purchasing alcohol for the minors.
He also confessed to exchanging nude photos with victim 1, state police said.
Concerning victim 2, Patel said he received oral sex from her on three, separate occasions.
On April 16, state police spoke with victim 3—a 16-year-old female who said she went with victim 2 to get alcohol from Patel in December 2023.
She said victim 2 was to allow Patel to “grope” her in exchange for the alcohol. However, Patel allegedly did more than grope the teen and also molested her (victim 3) before providing them the alcohol.
State police then spoke with victim 2 again, resulting in her disclosure of having engaged in sexual intercourse with Patel on three occasions since December. She also corroborated the story of victim 3.
Patel’s bail is currently set at $250,000, monetary in each case, with preliminary hearings scheduled for 10:15 a.m. May 1 during centralized court at the Clearfield County Jail.
