Police: Distracted Driver Crashes into Telephone Pole, Mailboxes in Snyder Township

SNYDER TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Authorities say a vehicle crashed into a telephone pole and mailboxes in Snyder Township on Friday afternoon.

According to PSP DuBois, the crash occurred around 4:11 p.m. on Friday, April 19, on Galusha Road in Snyder Township, Jefferson County.

Police say a 2014 Toyota Tundra was traveling northbound when the operator was looking out his driver’s side window and failed to negotiate a left turn.

The vehicle then struck a telephone pole and two mailboxes.

It is unknown if any injuries were reported.

The driver’s name was not released.

According to police, the driver was issued a traffic warning.
