Area state police responded to the following incidents:

Local Man’s Vehicle Damaged in Clarion County

According to a release issued on Tuesday, April 16, troopers are investigating an incident of criminal mischief near Penn Street in Redbank Township, Clarion County.

Police say an unknown actor(s) damaged the hood of a 2014 Jeep Compass sometime between 12:00 a.m. on April 1 and 2:58 p.m. on April 7.

The victim is a 23-year-old Mayport man.

The damage is valued at $500.00, police say.

Assault in Indiana County

PSP Indiana responded to the 13000 block of State Route 56 Highway East in East Wheatfield Township, Indiana County, for a report of a theft around 1:49 a.m. on Monday, April 15.

Police say two males engaged in an argument that became physical.

One male—a known 39-year-old Seward man—was cited with harassment.

The other involved person—an 18-year-old Seward man—was taken into custody for simple assault and harassment. He was lodged in the Indiana County Jail.

The suspects’ names were not released.
