State Police Calls: Area Woman Faces Aggravated Assault Charges

Area state police responded to the following incidents:

Area Woman Facing Aggravated Assault Charges

PSP Punxsutawney received a call regarding a woman acting violently in the 200 block of Patchin Highway, in Burnside Township Clearfield County, at 9:34 p.m. on Thursday, April 11.

Police say the female was placed into custody for aggravated assault and was subsequently lodged in the Clearfield County Jail.

The arrestee is a known 47-year-old N Cambria woman.

The victims are a 51-year-old female and a 26-year-old female, both of N Cambria.

The suspect is awaiting a preliminary hearing.

Police Seek Information Regarding Stolen Stop Sign

According to Marienville-based State Police, a known male reported on April 13 that a stop sign at the intersection of Greenwood Road and River Road, in Barnett Township, Forest County, is missing.

Police say an investigation determined that the sign was stolen.

The victim is listed as PennDOT of Brookville.
